This product is a premium two-pole RCA jack with shorting contacts for low noise audio applications.

The shorting contacts normally connect to the input and automatically disconnect when you insert an RCA plug. In audio applications, you can connect the shorting terminal to signal ground, thereby disabling unused inputs, which results in less noise and interference- no need for RCA caps/shorting plugs.

All contacts are of plated copper (not tin sheet).
