JDY-31 Bluetooth 3.0 SPP-C Bluetooth Module with Interface Board (Slave)

JDY-31C Bluetooth Module is a Bluetooth 3.0 compliant transparent mode serial module (SPP Protocol) that has the same functionality and can be used as a cheaper replacement for the popular HC-05 or HC-06 module.

The interface board has on-board LDO regulator to allow the module work with 5V power input.

Note: The JDY-31, like HC-05/06, will not connect with an iPhone or iPad.

The JDY-31 can absolutely be used entirely out-of-the-box. Unlike the HC-05—which frequently requires you to jump through hoops, change baud rates, or toggle physical buttons just to get it talking to your microcontroller—the JDY-31 is designed to be plug-and-play right from the factory.

Default Out-of-the-Box Factory Settings
If you power on a brand-new JDY-31, it will automatically broadcast with the following configuration:
Bluetooth Name: JDY-31-SPPPairing
PIN / Password: 1234
Hardware UART Baud Rate: 9600 (8 Data bits, 1 Stop bit, No parity)
Operating Mode: Slave Mode (Ready to be discovered by smartphones or PCs)

When would you need to configure it?
You only need to stray from the out-of-the-box settings if your specific project demands:
-A faster communication speed (e.g., upgrading the UART baud rate to 115200 for faster data throughput).
-A custom Bluetooth broadcast name to identify your specific device in a crowded room.
-A unique pairing PIN for basic security.
