Type I Soldering Iron Tip 900 Series
Material: Copper with Iron-Nickle Alloy plating
Iron-Nickle plating makes the tip slightly less heat conductive but extend its usable service life. Note that Iron-nickle also makes the tip magnetic.

Type I has a thin pointed tip. Best for soldering small discrete SMD Chips and soldering individual closely spaced pins.
